2018 marks an exciting moment as Mark Dziewulski prepares to debut new work across three continents.
LONDON SOLO EXHIBITION
April - May 2018 - For the first time in London, Dziewulski exhibits work from a series that launched at the Venice Biennale 2017, in addition to new, provocative paintings and sculptures. The solo exhibition, Layers of Self, questions how we really see each other by exploring the nature of people's characters, which we discover in layers that are built up to create a whole. The exhibition, held at Gallery Different (April 26th - May 1st), will be celebrated with events on April 25th and April 30th.
NEW YORK CITY EXHIBITION & EVENTS
April - July 2018 - The artist is proud to serve on a prestigious panel event at The New York Times Center (April 23rd) and to feature in an auction at The Pierre Hotel (June 4th). Both events reflect Dziewulski's commitment to CaringKind, the New York non-profit dedicated to helping those affected by dementia. This collaboration will culminate with a solo exhibit entitled Memory, Movement and Time (July 7th - 20th), which will give a portion of its proceeds to CaringKind.
ART FAIRS ACROSS KOREA
April - November 2018 - Dziewulski is collaborating with Gallery Palzo in Korea, and will debut an entirely new series of sculptures made of glass and wood. The gallery will feature the artist at Art Busan (April 19th - 22nd), the largest nationwide art festival in Korea. Art Busan has cultivated a reputation for itself for introducing many Asian galleries to the international art fair circuit. Gallery Palzo will additionally represent Dziewulski's work at Daegu Art Fair and at a leading art fair in Seoul this Autumn.
